Hey Girl!

I am Monique, a photographer that specializes in Boudoir Photography. My friends know me as the girl that loves her some margaritas, dinosaurs and boot weather. I might be the only person that does not love being in the heat.

I have a huge obsession with creating beautiful images that showcase women in a light rarely seen. Serving independent women that want to celebrate who they are now.

My husband gifted me my first camera in 2009, I quickly fell in love with photography! I started out shooting all styles of photography but have learned what makes me happiest. Throughout the years I have spent hours on end to better my skills & turn it into a business unlike the next. I have made the scary decision to stop trying to be the photographer that does it all and focus solely on boudoir! 

Boudoir photography comes natural to me and it never feels like a Job. I am excited to give my boudoir clients my full attention.  It’s the thing that keeps me up at night thinking about how can I better serve my client, what poses can I try, lighting ideas and so on. Boudoir photography comes so easy to me and excites my creative brain.

When I look for a photographer I want someone that thrives in that category and loves what they do.

* I love Zombie and vampire movies

* I love dinosaurs! We even had gold bride & groom raptors as our cake toppers for our wedding!

* I can not wait to visit europe.

If you could go anywhere tomorrow where would it be: Europe, All over Europe!

Favorite animal: If I could get away with it or if my husband would let me I would have a house full of dogs

Favorite Food: Boneless Fried chicken! In a sandwich, on a salad or just strips. Love it!

Love & family life: I first met my husband in 3^rd grade. It wasn’t until 2 years after high school that I saw him and was like heeeeyyy yooouu 😉 We now have a beautiful 8 year old daughter and have been together for 10 years.

Where did you grow up: I was born in LA but moved to Oregon when I was 8.

Favorite treat: Love me anything lemon!

Have you always wanted to do hair & makeup? I loved old movies and wanted to be a makeup artist at the age of 12 Cuz I wanted to look like a movie star!

If you were not doing hair & makeup what else could you see yourself doing? I would be an interior designer/artist

Love life: Been married for 31 years and still adore him!
