Why did you choose Monique Marie Photography?
I have been following along with Monique’s Facebook page and just fell in love with the look of her photos! I do not have high self esteem when it comes to my body image and I could just tell that if she took photos of me, I would feel very comfortable in my skin.
What was your favorite part about your experience?
Viewing the photos! I was SO EXCITED to see myself look like that! I felt so good about myself and was so excited to get the final images.
How do you feel now that your session is complete?
The session actually boosted my self esteem tenfold. I’m wearing things to work that are out of my normal comfort zone and I think I’m even walking taller. I’ve been getting more compliments from work people which has been helping with my self esteem as well!
What would you say to someone wanting to do a boudoir session but scared?
Please do it! It’s absolutely OK to be scared but Monique will make you feel so comfortable. She knows what she’s doing when it comes to posing and lighting and honestly, it made me appreciate the body I’m in a lot more. I also am looking forward to looking back on these photos when I’m in my 90s 🙂
Would you recommend Monique Marie Photography?
Absolutely. It’s so absolutely worth it and you will not regret taking a couple hours out of your day for a lifetime worth of pride!
